Today truly is one to cherish – all over the globe (in over 40 countries!) people will be celebrating some of the most amazing women in their lives today.
The beauty of this special day it is so widely and inclusively celebrated – regardless of age, culture, or background, Mother’s Day is about bonding with our own mothers, our fellow mothers, or with those who have been a mother figure in our lives. It’s also significant in the way it celebrates the spirit of motherhood and maternal bonds, and that it pays tribute to the immense cultural and societal influence mothers continue to have all over the world.
Whatever your plans, we hope that today you enjoy yourself (especially if you are a mum yourself!) – whether it’s going out for a meal, catching a film, or even having some quiet time, we wish you all the very best on your special day.
