“The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design has inspired me immensely. My style has developed and I am now confident in working free hand in Illustrator. The daily blogs and Facebook page have been a true inspiration and it is fantastic to see how different everyone’s work is. Bring on Module 2 + 3 and maybe even 4!” – Lucy Davison

“For me, the most important and helpful part of the course has been looking at the different ways to develop motifs for surface pattern designs. The sections on finding inspiration and mark making were particularly inspiring to me, and I now feel so much more comfortable using hand-generated work in my designs, rather than purely computer-generated elements.” – Louise Leake
