We are really pleased to showcase the beautiful work from our very talented Module 3 students of ‘The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design (the e-course) who took the course in April 2014. Here are some our fantastic students & the work they have created over the 5 weeks in class.

AurelieDussossoy_Little_One“This module helped me to feel like a real designer, and not only a mum who is trying to play with her computer. I feel confident enough now to send my designs to international brands and hopefully to sign some contracts! I am also dreaming on my own collection. Thanks to your course, I am part of a wonderful pattern designer group.” – Aurélie Dussossoy

“ABSPD has given me a wealth of insider information about the professional world of surface pattern and boosted my creative confidence no end. And I have to mention the supportive online community which I have found absolutely invaluable.” – Helen Cauvy Foster

“Module 3 really sets you up for going it alone and makes you feel like grownup in the world of surface pattern design!! It’ll take some time to cement all the info in my head, since there is so much of it, but it has definitely helped me to “mature” and feel I can compete in a crowded market.” – Petica Watson

“I love the designing part, but I had no idea on how to get my designs out there. Module 3 gave me the tools and thoroughly described in detail the avenues I can take to try to get my work noticed.” – Rebecca Ng

“I think the most powerful part of Module 3, for me, (apart from the continuing peer support and friendships with other students, which is so integral to the success of these courses) was helping me to focus on which direction I want to go in. Having information about freelancing, licensing and manufacturing helped me to see that I need to focus on those first two for the moment, rather than trying to do all things at once.” – Tasha Goddard
