Surtex 2016 Previews: Jeanetta Gonzales

Surtex, the only show in North America solely devoted to selling and licensing original art and design for all types of products, is almost here! Each year we bring you a series of Surtex previews and we are extremely proud of many of “The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design” e-course students who have featured and continue to feature at the show.

We are delighted to share with you previews of the talented designers showing at Surtex on the Make it in Design blog – enjoy!

Today we feature our lovely ABSPD graduate Jeanetta Gonzales who will be exhibiting at booth 455.

Jeanetta Gonzales is a designer and artist in Los Angeles specializing in surface and textile design. Her feminine, vibrant style is influenced from her love of global and classic patterns.

“I exhibited with a group previously so this is my first time in my own booth. I am really excited to bring my brand to Surtex and showcase my work”.

Her passion for art and design shines through. She loves sharing her art and working in different mediums such as gouache and pen and ink. She licenses and sells her art for home decor, stationery products and apparel and even teaches surface pattern design at Art Center at Night at in Pasadena.

You can see her latest work at Surtex such as her tropical, floral and word art collections in her booth #455. Please visit her website and watch her promotional video on her work and journey.
