“The most powerful elements of this course have been the treasure trove of information supplied alongside wonderful inspirational interviews, advice and tips. You feel nurtured and supported by a team who understands what it is like to have a creative ambition. It has helped me reach a new level of confidence where I feel equipped to take the next steps in my career”.

“This course gave me to tools to step into this design industry with confidence! The business side of design always intimidated me but I now feel more equipped and ready to put my work out there”.

“The most powerful part of ABSPD Module 3 was realizing that if you are willing to put in the work, there are many different ways we can make a living as a surface pattern designer. It helped me to develop as a designer by reminding me that our best work comes when we are true to our instincts and ourselves. I learned to relax and allow myself to create! Thank you for an amazing course and community. I am truly grateful for MIID”.

14.KatUno_Tropicalbirds-lores

Kat Uno | USA | Website

“I’ve been working digitally for over a decade and I also have been creating repeat patterns so my main objective for taking Module 3 was to gain more knowledge about how to go about selling my designs and I was not disappointed! This course has been full to the brim of great information, much more than I was expecting! Although there seems a plethora of courses online on the technical side of surface design, this was the most comprehensive course I was able to find on the business side”.

15.LouisaBoyles_nightMagick

Louisa Boyles | UK | Website

“Before I took Module 3 I felt a bit lost and uninspired, but the wealth of information within it has given me a much needed boost of confidence and has given me a clear idea of the path I want to take”.

17.MarisaDolan_PeacockParadeLowRes

Marisa Dolan | USA | Website

“The most powerful element of the course for me has been getting a clearer view at the surface pattern design world as a whole. It has helped clarify the different directions and opportunities that are available which is huge in helping me choose and focus on the areas that feel right for me”.
