Freedom Seeker Competition: The Results!

june 15, 2017

This past April, the Make it in Design team celebrated the release of Freedom Seeker, an wonderful and inspirational book written by our fabulous co-founder Beth Kempton! As part the launch, we created a fun Make it in Design giveaway where one lucky person could win a free place on the next Ultimate Portfolio Builder (September 2017)! UPB is a powerful, advanced seven-week online professional surface pattern design course that provides you with tons of real industry experience and advice to start your career in surface pattern design.

The Winning Design!

We are now so pleased to announce that the winner of the Freedom Seeker competition is Louise Wright (@louillustrator)! Beth and the team absolutely loved Louise’s submission which featured a fabulous quote selection and some gorgeous design work. We think Louise’s creativity and design talents will flourish even further in UPB and we cant wait to see her in class!

More Fabulous Designs!

As with many of our competitions, we are always blown away by the wealth of amazing design work that is submitted, so it’s no surprise that we also had some runner-up designs that deserved an honourable mention too! These designs also really stood out for Beth and the team and the designers below will also receive some Make it in Design and Freedom Seeker goodies!
