Design Your Socks Off with Corgi’s Latest Design Competition!

Time to Design Your Socks Off!

Calling all doodlers and designers! If you love a great design challenge then you’ll be excited to hear about this super fun competition hosted by luxury sock brand, Corgi. The family-run company is inviting you to enter your designs for their next pair of lush designer socks.

About the design competition

This is the first design competition that Corgi have run and they are very excited to see what the UK’s students can offer. Corgi design all of their sock designs in-house so this represents a rare opportunity for outside designs to be put into production. By creating this exciting design competition, Corgi want to offer students the chance to get creative, with the end goal of having their designs turned real products. Corgi will also be providing the winner with luxury socks with their design on. Who knows… maybe the winner will see their designs worn by HRH Prince George in the spring? Who knows where your designs will take you!

How to Enter

1. Download the sock template from the competition page

2. Draw on the design (either by hand, or using a design tool)

3. Take a picture of your design and send attach it in an email via along with a description of why you chose the design you created.

The winner will be announced at the beginning of next year following a review of all submissions by the Corgi panel.

More About Corgi

Established in 1892, the company is still located in the small Welsh mining village in which its story began. However, far from its humble beginnings as a sock maker for local miners, Corgi has gone on to develop a global reputation as the go-to luxury sock brand.

In 1989, Corgi was awarded a Royal Warrant by HRH the Prince of Wales, and continues to supply him and other members of the Royal family (including Prince George) with socks and other knitted goods.

Corgi’s socks also featured in blockbuster movie Kingsman 2, which showcased in September 2017.

This is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing! First of all, socks are amazing all by themselves are they not? But to add design to them…I just can’t even! I do have one question though, if I am located in the states can I still participate? I haven’t found anything saying I couldn’t but I thought I would ask. Thank you again!

    • Same question as above: can Canadians enter the Corgi comp? Also, I don’t seem to see the template?
