We’ll help you develop your signature style and use this to brand your business, plus we’ll also provide you with plenty of time-saving hints and tips, inspiration and secrets from successful surface pattern designers too.

If you are excited about the thought of making a name for yourself, Module 2 is the course for you! We’ll also show you how to understand and predict trends, put a collection together and create technical repeats, learn the industry specifications for printing and designing for various products and protect your work. Plus we’ll show you how to market yourself, get noticed, build an on-line presence and attract the press.

You’ll learn more complex techniques for sophisticated and commercially-appealing surface pattern design, how to negotiate a contract that’s right for you, manage your money, stay motivated, manage stock levels, write a business plan and so much more!
