MIID team member raises over £4k in colourful charity event

On Saturday 20th June, our Make it in Design sales and marketing manager, Lisa Moncrieff, headed to The Downs in Bristol, UK to participate in one of the most colourful charity events of the year.

Lisa joined over 1,000 people to take part in the 5k Rainbow Run and helped to raise over £4,000 for the Children’s Hospice South West.

Dressed in a bright white t-shirt and a rainbow coloured tutu, she ran the 5k course whilst getting showered in different coloured powder paint.

“It was a really colourful, lively and fun event,” said Lisa. “A few colleagues from my previous job at Roland DG ran the course with me, and with friends and family cheering us on at the sideline it really spurred us on and made the event so enjoyable. The children’s hospice is something very close to my heart so I feel very proud to have raised such an incredible sum of money to help make a difference for children with short lives.”
