Pippa Shaw is a designer currently living in France and is an alumni of Make it in Design having first started with Module 1 in October 2014 followed by Module 2 in January 2015 and Module 3 in April 2015.
“Surface pattern design has transformed my life and I am so happy to be spending time exploring my style, designing for different markets and finding inspiration in the most unlikely of places. I’m currently building up my pattern portfolio with multiple collections and working on collaborations with licensees. I am also part of a collective of talented designers that I had the good fortune to meet during ABSPD and we have exciting plans for the future (including exhibiting at Surtex)”.
Pippa along with six other Make it in Design alumni have just launched the Four Corners Art Collective. Be sure to follow them on Instagram (@fourcornersartcollective) where they’ve got lots of fun and exciting challenges and projects planned over the coming months. Join them next week with a festive countdown to Christmas!
Make it in Design’s #100daysofpattern Week 2 is all about BEING THANKFUL. Be sure to share your images across social media by adding #makeitindesign and #100daysofpattern and watch out for the spot prizes we will be awarding.
