Jennifer Speer is a designer based in Las Vegas. She is also a wife and mother to 3 amazing little rascals. They are a source of never ending inspiration to her!

“I have now taken all three modules as well as The Ultimate Portfolio Builder and all three summer schools from 2015. It was a bit overwhelming at times since I am a crazy busy mom of 3 kids (now 5, 3, and 1 years), but I was driven to get as much as I could out of this experience and be well on a path toward becoming a surface pattern designer this year!
This year has just been so fun and inspiring. I was home with my kids feeling like I was just missing the me in my life. My resolution this year was to get myself on this creative path toward having a successful career in surface pattern design in the future. Nothing happens overnight, but I have in this year learned to design from scratch in both Photoshop and Illustrator, started building a portfolio and opened a Society6 shop where my designs can be purchased. I now plan on doing some art prints from home via Etsy“.
