Anti Copying in Design (ACID) and Vice Chair of the Alliance for IP would like to invite you to the Second Annual Panel Debate
sponsored by
To date the economic impact of design on the UK economy has been undervalued but the forthcoming IP Bill offers an opportunity for real design reform for the 350,000 designers who contribute £33.5 billion to the UK economy.
Of particular interest is Clause 13, passed by the House of Lords, which will give designers parity with copyright and trade marks and criminal provisions for deliberate registered design infringement.
ACID has also campaigned for unregistered designs to be included as the majority of UK (and EU) designers rely on unregistered design right.
Speakers include:
Anti Copying in Design (ACID) and Vice Chair of the Alliance for IP – Introductions
ACID Chief Legal Counsel and IP expert at DMH Stallard – Chairman
- Kieron Sharp
Federation of Copyright Theft (FACT)
All Party Parliamentary Group – IP
- Jan Vleck
Fellow and Council Member
Chartered Society of Patent Attorneys (CIPA)
