We are really pleased to showcase the beautiful work from our very talented Module 3 students of ‘The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design (the e-course) who took the course in April 2013. Here are more of our fantastic students & the work they have created over the 5 weeks in class.
Today, our lovely interview is with María José Leaño from Papaya Design. Maria is a Colombian Textile Designer who lived and worked in Germany for ten years. She studied Textile Design at Los Andes University in Bogotá, Colombia (1990), and majored in Textile Print Design from the Philadelphia University of Textiles and Sciences (1994)
We are so pleased to hear the fabulous news that Sam Osborne has her gorgeous designs on the Post-It Brand®, creating an artist series of limited edition notes for their Signature Series line. Sam is one of our lovely alumni students for "The Art and Business of Surface Pattern design".
