Wow! We’re thrilled to announce that the wonderful Uppercase magazine will be providing a live brief for our students in the upcoming Module 3 class of The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design.
Uppercase is one of our favourite magazines here at Make It In Design. It is jam-packed with beautiful and inspiring articles and is an absolute must for those of you interested in illustration, pattern design, graphic design (and just about every other interesting area in the design field).
Uppercase was launched in 2009 by Janine Vangool, who was already running her own successful design business at the time, before focusing her attention on producing this labour of love, aimed at “the creative and the curious”.

We were very proud to see so many of our ABSPD course participants and alumni in the Uppercase Surface Pattern Design Guide – more than 30 of our students were featured!
