Hooray! The virtual doors opened today to the official start of Module 2: Creating Your Professional Identity and Module 3: Monetising Your Designs!

MODULE 2

In Module 2 ‘Creating your professional identity’ you will learn how to develop your brand image, design advanced technical repeats in Photoshop and Illustrator, put a collection together and start your own label. You will also discover how to understand and predict trends, get noticed and attract the press, and protect your work.

This is for you if you have a basic understanding of surface pattern design and now want to get noticed and make a name for yourself. Here you’ll join a community of like-minded people on a fun and inspiring creative journey and learn how to create more complex repeat patterns, build them into a sellable collection and put the foundations in place to pave the way for licensing and other exciting ways of selling your work.

In Module 3: Monetising Your Designs, you will learn everything you need to know to earn from your designs!

This module includes tons of the things they don’t teach you in art school, such as the nitty gritty of freelancing, licensing, selling outright, manufacturing and more! PLUS you’ll get free access to leading trend forecasting site WGSN, be provided with live briefs from real companies, AND have access to Rachael Taylor’s little black book of industry contacts!
