After thirteen fantastic years, we have made the tough decision to close the doors of Make It In Design at the end of 2024. We know this will come as a shock to many of you, and we want you to know this is not a decision we have made lightly. We also want to take this opportunity to thank you for being part of this one-of-a-kind community, and invite you to celebrate with us in our huge closing down sale (80% off everything!)
When we co-founded Make It In Design and pioneered the teaching of design online thirteen years ago, we had no idea what an amazing adventure it would become. We are honoured to have helped many thousands of you to dream big and build creative lives doing what you love. It has been a true joy to witness your efforts unfold into brilliant brands, global licensed ranges, published books, iconic textile ranges and household names. It has been an absolute honour to support each of you in your creative journey, and we are grateful for your contribution to one of the friendliest communities anywhere. But nothing lasts forever…
So much has changed in the world and in our own lives since we began over a decade ago. With both challenges and exciting new opportunities presented to us at this point in our careers, we have decided to end on a high, which is why we are making this bittersweet decision.
What does this mean for you?
- It means you can access ANY of our brilliant courses for 80% OFF in our Closing Down Sale, which is ON NOW. (Access until December 31, 2024, for ALL courses)
- If you currently have access to any of our courses, you will need to log in and download anything you need by December 31 2024 because there will be no extensions under any circumstances beyond that date.
- If you are in the Live Hub, this community will joyfully continue until the end of the year with the same high level of inspiration and support. December 2024 will be the last month of the Hub. Rachael will be keeping her design studio, coaching and working in education, but in a much simpler way.

- As for our lovely team, Kelly is looking for a new designer role and Vic is retraining as a primary school teacher!
We know many of you will have questions, and we would be hugely grateful if you could please FIRST CHECK THE FAQ’S and only email the team if your question is not answered there. We anticipate a large volume of emails so please be patient if it takes us longer than usual to reply to you.
