Make it Happen Typography Competition

We are celebrating the opening of our September class Make it Happen and we want YOU to get involved by taking part in a fun typography competition! But hurry! – All entries need to be uploaded to the gallery by midnight (BST UK TIME) on Sunday September 25th, 2022.

TO ENTER:

Either choose one of the following phrases or create your own to design/illustrate typographically:

Option 1: Exciting things are about to happen

Option 2: Working on my dream idea

Option 3: I’m about to make it happen

Option 4: A phrase of your choice that is relevant to class

You MUST tag @makeitindesign to be eligible for this competition.
You can use any style, any colours and any medium. Whether that is hand-drawn typography or a font of your choice in combination with an illustration, pattern, or photography (please use your own or a stock image which is royalty free).
Your artwork must be square and created high resolution, but submitted at low resolution (72 dpi) and at least 1800px wide.
Upload your piece to the online submission gallery by midnight (BST UK TIME) on Sunday September 25th, 2022
Please share your design on Instagram (and in the Facebook group if you wish)! Be sure to include #makeithappen and #makeitindesign and tag us at @makeitindesign on social media so we can spot your fab entry!

We can’t wait to see the gorgeous typography designs you create. Be sure to inject YOU into your design and have fun!

Any course of your choice from makeitindesign.com (to take yourself or give as a gift to a friend)

THE SMALL PRINT:

This competition is open to anyone over 18, anywhere in the world who has purchased Make it Happen and is run by Make It In Design (The Organisers).
The Organisers accept no responsibility for artwork not submitted on time due to technical issues.
There is no entry fee.
Artists will retain all rights to their artwork.
By submitting your work for this competition you give permission for the Organisers to showcase your entry at any time, regardless of whether or not you win, on makeitindesign.com or any social media account run by the Organisers or the Co-Founders of Make It In Design.
The winner will be chosen by the Organisers from the entries submitted in accordance with the submission guidelines on makeitindesign.com.
The Organisers’ decision on the winner is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
The prize is a choice of one course from the makeitindesign.com website. There is no cash alternative and the prize is not transferable.
