2014 sees Cape Town as World Design Capital, making it an exciting place to be. It is a city which imbues a strong social consciousness into design, as well as producing high-end products of a world standard. Capetonians from all walks of life are highly creative, and beautiful work can be found from street vendors to galleries. Cape Town is also well known for its natural beauty and boasts beautiful beaches, so leave the Northern Hemisphere winter behind and come and get some colour on your skin and local design in your suitcase!
Places to go to:

I am an illustrator and designer and enjoy working on a variety of material from books to t-shirts to wallpaper. Living at the sea I am strongly influenced my surroundings and also the exceptional colour and light, but mostly I like my work to be playful and quirky!
