THE BRIEF
Think colourful, energetic, spontaneous and creative. You can think literally with the title or more abstract (as Rachael did). Add your own unique flair and style.

Full artwork submission details, templates and terms and conditions are available below. The winners will be judged by the team based on how well the designs fit the brief and themes of the book.

DEADLINE:
Enter by Tuesday 14th March midnight (UK time) and the winners chosen by the team will be announced soon after.
ARTWORK + TEMPLATES:
Cover size: 7.5in (190.5mm) x 9.25 (234.95mm) + 3mm bleed. You can use whichever design software you have available to you, however we have provided templates for Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
All text on the original cover will need to be included on your design. Please only design with fonts that you have permission to use. All artwork must be your own.

No. of submission images allowed: Unlimited
What to upload to the online submission gallery: Save for web, low resolution jpgs (72dpi) minimum 1200px wide.
Please use the following naming convention for your work in your image file: FIRST NAME_LAST NAME _PUYC COVER REDESIGN COMPETITION_NUMBER.jpg
e.g. RACHAEL_TAYLOR_PUYC COVER REDESIGN COMPETITION_1.jpg.
Please do not add a watermark or your name/logo to the design itself, you will always be fully credited.

The decision on the winners by the team will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. There is also no cash alternative.
This giveaway is open to anyone from anywhere in the world.
You will retain full copyright to your design and it will not be used for any other purpose.
Rachael Taylor is a trademarked brand and will retain full copyright to the title Power Up Your Creativity and all of the original cover artwork.
The coaching sessions and any Make it in Design classes will be delivered online and there is no requirement to be in a particular location. No purchase is necessary to enter.
If you have already purchased a coaching session, then this will be considered an additional session.
If you have already purchased an online course then you will need to choose an additional course for your prize, refunds will not be given.
You give permission for your details to be shared with our prize partners.
The online booth, cash prize and mentoring session from Blue Print will be handled directly by their staff.
Fabric printing prizes will be handled directly by Fashion Formula.
Book prizes will be sent by Quarto.
Prizes from our partners will be delivered by said partners and will not be the responsibility of the Rachael Taylor Studio or Make it in Design. Queries about those prizes will need to be sent directly to those partners.
Only entries left by midnight (UK time) on March 14th will be entered into the giveaway, and you must be following @makeitindesign and @rachaeltstudio on Instagram and have correctly submitted your artwork to the online gallery for entries to be valid.
