We hit the road and took to the skies to deliver Sketch Doodle Draw LIVE in the UK, USA and Finland in 2016. Thank you to everyone who joined us – it was so lovely to meet you in person!
ABOUT SKETCH DOODLE DRAW
These FREE, informal, meet, greet and sketch with Rachael Taylor sessions were designed to:
- give you an opportunity to meet and chat with Rachael and watch her at work
- help you loosen up, experiment and be spontaneous as Rachael always encourages this way of working. She strongly believes there are no mistakes – so let go and just have fun
- show you how to look for patterns in your surroundings where you’re guaranteed to see everyday things in a more beautiful way
- bring creativity to the community and show how drawing, sketching and doodling can be a useful way to de-stress in our everyday hectic lives and be enjoyable for all the family too
- give you a chance to get your work featured on the Make it in Design site and network with like-minded creatives!

LIVERPOOL UK
Our first event in Liverpool, UK at the beautiful Sefton Park Palm House was a HUGE success!
Over 60 people joined us over the space of 3 hours on Monday May 16, 2016 and we welcomed a diverse range of creatives. We drew with men and women of all ages and our youngest attendee was just a few weeks old!
We met a lovely bunch of GCSE Art students from a local school and a team of architects who came for their lunch break. We were able to catch up with our amazing alumni as well as art students from nearby universities too!

NEW YORK, USA
We had so much fun at our second event in New York, USA, held at the gorgeous Bethesda Fountain in Central Park.
Rachael Taylor and Make it in Design’s Sales & Marketing Manager, Lisa Moncrieff absolutely loved meeting members of the design community on Thursday August 11, 2016.
It was a super hot day and we really appreciated everyone coming to join us for some drawing fun! We can’t believe that some of you had traveled all the way from Dubai, Australia and the UK, taking time out of your precious holiday to join us – we are truly thankful.
