Here at Make it in Design we love nothing more than a gorgeous typography design – so much so that we are launching a Summer School Typography Competition!
This is an exciting design challenge for alumni of previous Summer School’s as well as a chance to practice your typography skills.
The Challenge
We would love for you to create your very own beautiful typography, testimonial design. Rachael Taylor will select one design as the winner, and that person will be given a FREE place on ALL THREE TRACKS of Summer School 2019 starting on July 29th, 2019.
Below you can find the competition requirements:
- Create an inspirational typographic design in your own style and media (this can be hand-drawn or created with different fonts). The quote should include your own words BUT must start with:
The Make it in Design Summer School is…
- Please supply a 1000 pixels wide, ‘save for web’ jpg AND a high res (300dpi) version with the original pixel size. You can use Dropbox / WeTransfer / to send these images to [email protected] with your full name and website and social media links
- Deadline: Midnight (BST) Sunday June 30, 2019
- You will also need to share your design on social media. This can be on our Facebook page or Instagram. Use hashtags #makeitindesign and #summerschool2019
Please note:
The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative, but if you win and have already registered for Summer School 2019 you will receive a refund of your class fee.
The winner will be announced on Monday July 8, 2019.
