The feedback received for initial work was very valuable and a good benchmark to then compare with the progress I’d made during the UPB course. I could then combine all we had learnt to put to use for the live briefs at the end.

Getting your work reviewed by a professional designer who has been working in the industry and knows the commercial aspects of it, is just fantastic. They steer you in the right direction and provide you with constructive criticism. They not only review your work but also your website and I personally made a lot of changes to my website after my review.
The student work reviews were so valuable and I got so much out of them! Having a successful designer’s eyes look over your work and give you feedback and suggestions was one of the highlights of the course. It was beneficial to receive validation for my work, not to mention suggestions and ideas how to tweak my designs.
The brief review of my website was a bonus as well! The fact that I can watch and download all the reviews of class members work means that I can refer back to the tips and suggestions as often as I like.
The reviews were great. I watched all of them and learned a little something with each one. The reviewers were kind with helpful critiques and suggestions. It taught me to look at my own finished repeats with a more critical eye.
The student reviews were great too, lots of feedback and suggestions about colour, placements etc. It was good to see everyone’s reviews too, it reminded me a little a bit of the ‘crits’ we used to have at university. Once again, I took away something valuable from the reviews. They also gave you feedback on your website/blog which is really important to have these days.
