Becky Dinnage aka Ludicrous Prints is a Digital Illustrator, Surface Pattern Designer and Cross Stitch Pattern Designer.
“I create most of my work on the iPad/Mac using ProCreate and PS from my cosy studio in leafy Surrey, UK.
My work is colourful, quirky and fun. Enjoyed by both adults and children. Ludicrous Prints goal is taking our audience on a magical adventure through character illustrations and typography. I set up Ludicrous Prints in 2012 after graduating from a degree in Surface Design. Have a ludicrous day”.
Becky’s experience taking UPB :
Taking part in the MIID’s Summer School Course really encouraged me to expand my design range however I felt lost when defining my style. I decided to enter into the competition to win a place on the Ultimate Portfolio Builder, and was successful. During my time I was able to explore different briefs, from pattern making to stationery designing.Upon leaving I felt I had a good knowledge of what the ‘industry’ was looking for and had created a foundation for my new style to grow.
How it started for Becky in 2019:
