The April class of Module 3: Monetising your designs had the opportunity to submit work to Wraptious who provided a live brief for our talented students to work on.
We are so proud of the submissions we sent over to the team at Wraptious. Simon, the founder and the rest of his team were tasked with firstly shortlisting from all of the designs submitted.
The brief was to create patterns to the theme of ‘weird and wonderful’. Think nature and animals, exotic jungles or wildlife, foliage, bright summer colours.
” This was SUCH a hard decision to make. There were so many other stunning entries but we were guided by who we felt met the brief we had set”.

Top 3 Artists
We are so EXCITED to reveal that Wraptious have now selected the Top 3 Artists!
“We were honestly so impressed with all the entries we received. A little about our thoughts on the winners:
Chrissie Rodda: We really loved her use of animals and foliage to create an almost kaleidoscope effect, without her designs feeling too over crowded. They are lovely images and the two cushions compliment each other too.
Maria Atanackovic – We really enjoyed the colours in this, and the animal characters she has created and used in the pattern are very cute! She has done an excellent job of combining lots of different elements into one cohesive and contemporary design.
Nelli Khatmoullina: Nelli’s designs are really unique, and we liked how she interpreted our brief to create a bold abstract pattern for her cushion. The result looks like it belongs in the Tate modern! Her frog cushion is very fun, and she has used bright colours very effectively to make her designs pop”.
Congratulations. These artists will now have their work added to the Wraptious site for 6 months.
