Sarah Braithwaite took Module 3 Monetising your Designs in April 2015.
“I have been working on prints and graphics for the childrenswear market for many years now, but since doing the course I am developing a line of limited edition screen printed cushions and other items for sale in boutique shops. I have also enjoyed holding a stall at a folk festival selling my wares which was a real eye opener and really good fun. I am also designing fabric for an upholstery company too which is a new and exciting experience. It’s great to be challenged and to learn new things about designing for different end uses.
My online store will be up and running soon too, to start with I will just be selling art prints, just hoping it will be successful so I can expand and include other items too”.
