LIVE BRIEF 1: CARDMAKING & PAPERCRAFT MAGAZINE
We are thrilled to announce that the fabulous Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine will be offering a live brief, giving you the opportunity to be featured in an up-coming issue.
Posted through the doors of 37,000 homes and read by an average of just under 300,000 people, Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine is the number one cardmaking magazine in the UK.
They are no strangers to Make it in Design, as in 2014 they published work from three students through a live brief, in May 2015 they selected two student’s work to feature. Check out the chosen published work of Tracy Miller and Metka Hiti and we’re looking forward to seeing the work of another student to be published later this year from our September 2015 class!
LIVE BRIEF 2: DENY DESIGNS
We are delighted to announce that the fabulous home furnishings company DENY Designs will be offering a live brief for Ultimate Portfolio Builder students.
Based in the USA, DENY Designs is a global and prestigious company that offers products to transform the home while supporting art communities all over the world. They believe in each product being custom-made for each and every customer using state of the art printing methods to create fresh, vibrant colours and high-end quality products.
Currently DENY Design produces over 35 home-ware products and it’s wonderful to see the versatility you can get from one design. Their team of artists even includes some of our ABSPD Alumni such as Loni Harris, Wendy Kendall, Tammie Bennett, Ali Benyon, Camilla Foss & Vy La! Rachael has collaborated with DENY Designs herself and cannot sing their praises enough!

LIVE BRIEF 3: REALLY GOOD
Really Good are the purveyor of rather marvellous gifts and things! With an eclectic mix of gifts, home accessories, children and lifestyle products from the innovative novelty to the perfectly practical; their collections are quirky and their ranges radical!
We first started working with Really Good for last September’s The Ultimate Portfolio Builder where they were able to chose one student’s work to license. Here’s your chance to get in with this quirky and fun company.
LIVE BRIEF 4: CARD CRAZY
The fabulous Card Crazy are scouting for new talent and will be offering a live brief to all those on the course too!
Card Crazy is a UK based, greetings card publisher with the focus of making designers stand out from the crowd. They love to celebrate and showcase their designers ensuring that they share the success of their designs!
Rachael has worked with Card Crazy on her own illustration & pattern card ranges and loved designing for them – we know you will too!
