How to create your own floral digital art brush in Adobe Illustrator. Do you enjoy using brushes in Illustrator but would love to know how to make your own? Follow this super quick and easy tutorial and have fun!
INSTRUCTIONS:
FOLIAGE BRUSH (stroke shape)
- Select your motif and go to Window > Brushes
- Click on the New Brush icon in the bottom right of the Brushes palette
- Choose Pattern Brush in the options and click OK
- Name your new brush and click OK
- Create a shape and only use a stroke
- Select your shape and click on your new brush in the Brushes palette to apply to your shape
FLORAL BRUSH (filled shape)
- Follow the same instructions above
- Add the new brush to your shape and also add a fill
