SO, WHAT’S NEW?
From April to June we are exploring the macrotrend HIGH SUMMER Spring / Summer 2024. “Endless hot summer days filled with thoughts of days out, ice creams, picnics, and fun with friends. For some, the experience of packing a bag or suitcase and going away for a staycation or traveling to another country to spend time with family is a memory a child will hold forever. […] The three fundamental influences for Summer 2024 are – Wonderment, Nostalgia and Escapism.” We will be focusing on the micro design trends Miami Beach Club, Summer Picnic and Sighseers.
We will also be joined by Alexander Wills from industry leading, cutting edge digital printers Fashion Formula. He will be providing his top tips for creating designs for print, working with fabrics and reviewing your work by the end of the quarter.
Joanne Cocker of Jojo Coco Design will also be helping you explore how to design for fabric and providing feedback on your work.
