We’re gearing up for the start of Winter School which officially kicks off tomorrow! Our all new Winter School is the perfect way to inject creativity and inspiration into the start of the New Year.
Winter School from Make it in Design runs for four weeks from January 9 – February 3, 2017. There are three tracks available – Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Please feel free to sign up for one or more options, and use this opportunity to stretch your design skills, connect with other designers around the world, experience working to an industry trend-inspired brief to grow your portfolio and even get your work published!

Fashion Formula
We’ve teamed up with our good friends at Fashion Formula to give you the opportunity to see your design come alive in print!
Fashion Formula is an fun and easy-to-use online platform where you can create your own printed fabric, wallpaper, accessories or gift wrap.
At the end of Winter School, Fashion Formula will select their three favourite designs from each track (nine lucky winners in total) and will print those designs on fabric and tea towels. For any designer, seeing their work printed onto an item for the first time is a magical experience and who knows, it could just be the start of things to come!
Here’s the prize breakdown:
- 1st prize: 3 meters of any fabric from their range and 2 tea towels
- 2nd prize: 1 meter of any fabric from their range and 1 tea towel
- 3rd prize: 2 fat quarters of any fabric ( 65 x 48 cm) and 1 tea towel
