Winter School 2020 Fashion Formula Winners

The Make it in Design team well and truly enjoyed every moment of Winter School 2020 and we do hope you’ve enjoyed it just as much.

Today we are delighted to announce our Winter School 2020 Winners and offer our HUGE congratulations and thanks to you all!

“Once again we have truly LOVED every minute of Winter School 2020! Myself and the team have had an inspirational winter jam packed with colour and pattern.

We have been totally floored by the unbelievably high standard of work that has been submitted. What a real honour it is to spend our time enjoying the gorgeous eye candy you’ve presented, jam-packed with breathtaking colour, patterns and textures. It really is SUCH a pleasure and so exciting to see all your design work and be part of this creative journey with you!

Fashion Formula Winners

We teamed up again this year with Fashion Formula. Fashion Formula is a fun and easy-to-use online platform whereby customers can create their own printed fabric, wallpaper, accessories or gift wrap. This is a fantastic opportunity to see your designs in physical form and Fashion Formula can ship to anywhere in the world!

Along side the chance to win a free place on an upcoming module from The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design per track, Winter School participants were offered the chance to see their designs come alive in print courtesy of Fashion Formula. Fashion Formula offered 9 prizes in total, 3 for each track of Winter School based on work submitted to the two trend briefs PLUS highly commended prizes:

1st prize: 3 meters of any fabric from their range and 4 sheets of gift wrap (50 x 70 cm each)
2nd prize: 1 meter of any fabric from their range and 2 sheets of gift wrap (50 x 70 cm each)
3rd prize: 2 Fat quarters of any fabric ( 65 x 48 cm) and 1 Sheet of gift wrap (50 x 70 cm each)

This is such a fantastic opportunity to see your designs in physical form.
