We were inspired when Rachael Taylor told us about her support for PostPals – a small UK charity dedicated to making seriously ill children and their siblings smile by the sending of cards, letters, little gifts, support and friendship.
Last month Rachael sent a load of ‘smiles’ (packs of goodies) to the charity to cheer up a number of sick children in hospital.
It got us thinking… how great it would be to mark ‘Send a card to a friend day‘ by encouraging our lovely community to design, write and send a card to someone in need of cheering up – a friend, loved one or stranger even – like a child featured on the PostPals website perhaps!
