“Creating mood boards has helped me find my style and the colors I am attracted to. Thank you.” – Jowy Ng Shui Fong

Francesca-Bucci---Tea-time

“This course is amazing for start to develop the creativity, is full of great tips and challenges, I am enjoying it a lot so far.” – Francesca Bucci

Lauren B Huber - Autumn Celebration

“The Most Powerful Element of the Course: Motif development; learning to create individual graphic elements that can be combined and reused in many different designs was very helpful and a great reminder that I don’t necessarily have to reinvent the wheel every time I create a surface design or pattern.” – Lauren B. Huber

Joanna Reid (Blackbird Alley) Hearts, Pearls, Bows.

“For me the chance to go back to the start, loosen up the design process and have the freedom to experiment again on the course was a gulp of (much needed) fresh air. It’s a joy to know that my illustrations really can yield patterns and that my work may just be covering a part of someone’s everyday life, bringing them a little cheer. I just have to work away in order to discover those patterns and I find that part most exciting of all!” – Jo Reid (Blackbird Alley)

Trudi_Dowling-Farm_Girl“The most powerful element of this course so far, has been learning the importance of going back to pen and paper with designing, and finding a balance between working on the computer and away from the computer. Another important element so far has been the ability to have fun while working, to be able to do something professional while being able to play and draw on the inner child while doing it :)” – Trudi Dowling

Sally-Cooper-Happy-Garden“I LOVED the course! ~ it has been really inspiring and motivating for me. I am a printed textile / surface pattern designer, it’s in my blood!” – Sally Cooper

Cara-Mancini--fish-print“This Course has been an incredible journey to find my own direction combining my fine art and pattern design… After the 5 weeks i have successfully been able to capture elements of my multi media paintings and create repeat patterns for print. I look forward to where this course will take me in modules 2 and 3.” – Cara Mancini

Alyssa-Marshall---Geometric-Batik-Style-1
“This course has really given me a drive and motivation to start a career in surface pattern design. I have specifically learned to diversify my design process using techniques presented in virtually every lesson presented. Thank you!” – Alyssa Marshall

Fiona-Duke-blue-daisies“The most powerful element of this course has been the amazing way in which a group of people have come together to share their love of surface pattern design. The content of the module has genuinely inspired me to follow my dream as it has given me access to invaluable information, an essential insight into the industry and the opportunity to try out creative exercises and share the results with a truly inspiring group of designers. I was such a beginner on Photoshop but I feel I am getting better and better every day which has completely helped my designs look more and more professional. I totally can’t wait for the next few modules.” – Fiona Duke

Carmel-Lomax_550px

“The most powerful element of the course for me has to be the bonus technical workshops in Illustrator. It’s opened a whole new world up for me, giving me the basic skills I need to design digitally and develop future work using these skills.” – Carmel Lomax
