The second gallery for Summer School is live and we are so impressed with the quality of work that has been produced so far. All our participants continue to come up with such original and creative responses to the briefs. It has been amazing to unite the 5,000 or so people across the globe, who signed up to participate in creating patterns. With 3 different categories of live briefs, there is a track to suit everyone’s level of designing and we are thrilled to see the results of the second brief!

Here are some of the patterns for the beginners theme of ‘Tribal Shapes’. Tribal influences meets urban design in the dynamic patterns submitted for the second brief.
Take a look at this selection of patterns for the intermediate theme of ‘Animal Prints’ – A patchwork of clashing patterns that combine really well in eclectic designs that are full of energy.
Inspired by hand rendered mark-making and bold colour blocking, these patterns were created for the advanced brief of ‘Tribal Collage’. A lovely mix and match of clashing and contrasting designs that really pop.
