It’s already been a very busy summer for Rachael Taylor and the Make it in Design team as we’ve hit the road and soon the sky to attend a number of cool events this summer.

Last month Rachael was in Brighton, UK at The Global Art Gathering – sharing her valuable insight and creative talents. The event was a sell-out and huge success. If you missed it you can check out this blog post by some of our lovely ABSPD students who attended.

Rachael and the Make it in Design team then headed to London, UK to attend the New Designers exhibition. Held at the Business Design Centre in Islington, the show attracts over 3,000 of the most promising graduate talents from Britain’s leading design courses. This year the show celebrated its 30th birthday. Rachael took to the stage as part of a series of talks with The Design Trust and was thrilled to meet so many of our lovely design community. See our blog post to find out more and also upcoming blog posts featuring lots of talented designers.

Rachael will finally take the stage this summer at Printsource New York on the 11th and 12th August. Printsource is one of the world’s best surface and textile design shows in the world and Rachael is so excited to be speaking at this prestigious show. If you missed the exclusive announcement that Printsource New York became our Official Trade Show Partner, read about it here.

You can find Rachael at 4:30 each day in The Future Cafe where all the colour and trend seminars will take place. Rachael will be joining the likes of Pantone, Trendstop and Kids a la Mode on the stage but unlike the other presentations each day, Rachael’s talk is FREE TO ATTEND so take full advantage of this and check it out!  Visit the Printsource website for further details and to discover what industry secrets Rachael will be sharing!

We’d love to meet as many of you as possible at Printsource, New York so please do let us know if you are planning to attend at [email protected] and come and say hello.
