…until the start of our next class!

Next Monday (February 13, 2017), our hugely inspiring, idea generating, career-propelling, advanced online surface pattern design course – The Ultimate Portfolio Builder starts. Followed by Modules 1 and 2 on February 20.

Over the next few days we’ll share some of the key ways our course has helped propel the careers of those who’ve experienced it and how it can help yours to flourish too.

Today we share a little about who contributes to The Art & Business of Surface Pattern Design so you can see why our acclaimed e-course continues to be a market leader.

6 days to go…

6 days to go contributors

Did you know that The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design probably contains the largest number of surface pattern professional contributors than any other on the market today – and we are constantly adding new partners and resources all the time.

For starters, internationally-acclaimed surface pattern designer and illustrator, Rachael Taylor literally shares EVERYTHING she has ever learnt and continues to learn on her journey to design success with you.

It’s crammed with resources and gives you a comprehensive run through of how the industry works as she draws on her own experience, injecting fun and creativity along the way.

Then, each module contains a range of interviews from experts from across the industry including; designers, trend companies, leading design bloggers, authors, trade show executives, pattern buyers and many more, to help give you an ‘all you need to know’ rounded experience.

Latest partners & collaborations

Over the last year we’ve been out and about working on new projects and developing new partnerships to bring you lots of new content for 2017.

Some of the things to look out for in our upcoming courses include;

  • MARIMEKKO – we were able to have a behind the scenes factory tour of one of the most famous pattern brands in the world in Helsinki, Finland. We look forward to sharing our report from our trip and lots of behind the scenes pictures. Watch a video of Rachael Taylor at Marimekko on our Facebook page!

  • ROLAND DG – global leaders of wide format textile and digital printers, engravers, 3D printers and milling machines. We enjoyed a ‘Designer Day’ at their UK headquarters where we wrapped a car in pattern and discovered hundreds of possibilities for surface pattern design with their equipment (we filmed it all too for our course, but you can get a sneak 2 minute peak during our first ever Facebook live here!)
