This week we are celebrating Make it in Design alumni Joanne Cocker of Jojo Coco Design! She is a surface pattern designer from the UK who creates beautiful homewares and accessories that are ‘designs for life, inspired by life’. Since graduating with us she has gone to on to create her own design label, produce a range of textiles, cards and prints which she sells on Etsy. She has also created fabric collections for Dashwood Studio, baby carriers for Kahu Baby, window decoration with The Window Film company and freelanced for many high street brands.
Oh her experience learning with us Joanne has said:
“Starting out as a freelancer 9 years ago, I didn’t know where to start to set up my own brand . The MIID modules guided you step by step on a journey of discovery, unique to you and your style and to top it off supported by such a wonderful online community. Thank you to Rachael and Beth for setting up these courses, I still refer back to them now in times of need for help and advice. I’m still learning and I will be forever grateful, I genuinely wouldn’t be in the position I am today If I hadn’t have done your courses. I honestly can’t recommend them enough, Thank you !!!”
