During the summer our friends at Wraptious launched an exclusive live design brief for our Live Hub members!
They were looking for some beautiful Christmas and occasional card designs with the winners gaining the opportunity to be featured on their retail website and blog, where they will earn commission!

Amy Waldren
“I’ve been a member of the live hub for about a year and this was my first time taking part in a live brief, and first time designing for the greetings market. It was really motivating to create designs with a real product in mind, and I got some great feedback. I’ve now got the starting point for designing a full collection of artwork based on the work I did for this brief”.
Nina Martell
“I’ve been a member of the live hub for a couple of months and the first thing I saw was the Wraptious live brief. The deadline was imminent and although trepidation set in I thought to myself “Just go for it!”
So, I nervously submitted my designs and crossed my fingers. This was my first time submitting work for a live brief and my main takeaways are not to be intimidated and to just enter as if you don’t you’ll never know where it may lead.
I was so delighted and blown away to be among the chosen winners and I’m hoping it will open new doors for me !
This was my first time designing for the greetings market although I have designed and sold my own designs at pop ups and through certain marketplaces. I’m so glad I joined the Live hub and I am thankful to Wraptious and Make It In Design for this wonderful opportunity.
Live Hub is a wealth of support and knowledge and I know I’m creating pieces that will lead to a strong portfolio. Having my designs included in the Wraptious trade show and catalogue is a dream come true and they have been so supportive and encouraging”.
