As part of our commitment to opening up the world of surface pattern design and supporting your development, we want to offer you a series of opportunities for showcasing your work, and helping you get noticed.

This page outlines the submission guidelines for a variety of opportunities. Please be sure to follow them carefully, as any work which does not meet the guidelines will be rejected without notice. It is really important that you are professional in the way your submitting your work, wherever it is you are submitting it.

You can take advantage of as many of these opportunities as you like. You may wish to spread out your submissions over several months – you can submit any time unless there is a specific deadline given. Please be aware that due to a high volume of submissions we are unable to respond individually every time you submit, but if your work is featured you will be notified of this.

By submitting to any of the following opportunities you acknowledge that you accept the following terms and conditions:

  1. We may use the submitted work in any context related to content and promotion of The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design, MOYO Magazine, the Make It In Design online resource hub, the Do What You Love website or the Rachael Taylor Designs website, at any point in the future.
  2. You will retain all rights to your work and you will always be credited.
  3. There is no fee payable for the use of your work as outlined in (1) above.
  4. You confirm that the work submitted is your own and you own all associated rights (unless it is licensed work and you have permission from the licensee to submit it here). We take no responsibility for any intellectual property rights infringement if you submit work copied by other people. Anyone found to have infringed any intellectual property rights will have their work removed immediately.
