FESPA DIGITAL round-up

FESPA Digital, which took place last week in Amsterdam has been hailed a huge success by the Roland DG team and everyone involved in the show. Some of our lovely Make it in Design graduates stopped by the stand too!

Global printer manufacturer Roland DG and Rachael Taylor collaborated for this year’s FESPA which saw visitors to the Roland DG stand see how easy and rewarding it can be working with designers to transform designs into a number of highly profitable applications using Roland wide format digital print technology.

The Roland DG team have put together this short video from the show showing Rachael’s designs being printed on their Texart XT-640 dye-sublimation printer and professionally heat transferred using their Texart CS-64 calender system.

One of our lovely The Ultimate Portfolio Builder graduates attended the show and stopped by the Roland DG stand.

Inge Van Bruggen from Studio Mola Mola in the Netherlands chatted to Roland staff, watched demonstrations of the latest printing kit, saw what different technologies can offer a designer like herself as well as discover the benefits to working in collaboration with printers.

They kindly sent us these pictures of Inge sporting her fabric bags featuring designs from Rachael Taylor:

Here’s a few photos of more visitors to the Roland DG stand at FESPA enjoying their free bags!
