Surtex, the only show in North America solely devoted to selling and licensing original art and design for all types of products, is almost here! Each year we bring you a series of Surtex previews and we are extremely proud of many of “The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design” e-course students who have featured and continue to feature at the show.

- How are you preparing for the show?
Along with my collective, Finch & Foxglove (Booth #543), I’ve been prepping since last year! Some of us met in the UPB course, and since then, we’ve developed our portfolios, sent out many e-mails to prospective clients, designed and printed banners, books, and other promotional materials in preparation for the show. We’ve worked really hard to refine our styles in the last year and are ready for our Surtex debut!

The Ultimate Portfolio Builder in May 2015 and Summer School 2015.
- Your show stand number
As well our our very talented ABSPD students our very own Rachael Taylor will be exhibiting at the show and has been sharing sneak peeks of her work in progress via Instagram and the Rachael Taylor blog.
