Have you taken a break recently? Taken a moment to step away from your screen and do something simple but for YOU?

Today we invite you to take a break – no matter how small. It’s so important in today’s jam-packed world and the benefits are it reduces stress, boosts your creativity and can improve your overall wellbeing.

Make it in Design Manager Vic Dickenson shares these ideas for taking a break – go on you deserve it!

  • Grab a cup of tea or coffee and take the time to really savour it (biscuit optional)
  • Feeling tired and exhausted? Take a 30 mins power nap (regular napping actually improves mental and cognitive health)
  • Meditate or do some yoga
  • Go for a walk outside
  • Make a delicious meal or snack (feed your mind, body and soul)
  • Read a book (even just a chapter)
  • Listen to a podcast episode (check out our FREE podcast HERE)
  • Spend some time offline, pop on the out of office and/or say no to any new projects (give yourself time to recharge)

So, we hereby give you permission to take that all-important break today by doing one or more of the above!
