Last month the Make it in Design team celebrated their 5th birthday by announcing a fun competition asking you to show the world how this amazingly creative surface pattern design industry touches you. Celebrating the awesome talent of those who contribute to it and showing just how truly inspiring and important the world of pattern is for everyone in our every day lives we asked you to share your #prizedpatternedpossessions.

HOW IT WORKED

We asked you to simply share your favourite patterned possessions with the world on Instagram! From an item of clothing to your best pen, a piece of furniture to your bedroom wallpaper or your finest china to wrapping paper. It didn’t matter what it was, where it was from, how much it cost or how old it was, what mattered was that it mattered to you!
