We are very excited to bring you a series of Surtex previews for the 2014 show taking place on May 18 – 20, 2014 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York. Surtex is the only show in North America solely devoted to selling and licensing original art and design for all types of products.
We are extremely proud of many of “The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design” e-course students and are pleased to be celebrating their success with them as they prepare for the show.
How are you preparing for the show?
Karma is debuting at Surtex with the Forest Foundry Art Collective. She has spent 8 months in preparation, and has over 200 patterns in her collections that are suitable for a wide range of Surface Design Applications.

Karma is based in Melbourne, Australia. She has a decade of experience in the Fashion industry, but is now launching into Surface Design. She has a diverse style, ranging through the purely vector to the more organic, hand drawn and painterly styles, this makes her work versatile and suited to a large range of applications. She gets her inspiration from nature, vintage art and fashion. She loves mini escapes in nature with her family, and has an unbound passion for coffee and everything artsy-fartsy!
